Terms of Use
Effective and last updated 7 November 2026
These terms apply to the SignMe app (“the app”) made by Kiwi Kettle, a trading name of Lokesh Sehgal. They supplement the Kiwi Kettle terms. By using the app you agree to them.
What SignMe does
SignMe lets you add a signature, initials, text, dates and marks to PDFs, photos and scanned documents on your Android or iOS device, and save a signed copy. It creates a simple electronic signature: an image of your signature placed on the page. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, does not verify identity and does not provide an audit trail.
Your responsibility
- Only sign documents you are entitled to sign, and only add other people’s details with their permission.
- Check whether a simple electronic signature is acceptable for your document before relying on it. SignMe does not give legal advice.
- Check the signed copy before you send it.
- Keep your own backups. Documents are stored only on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app.
Free access and Unlimited
You can sign your first 3 documents free. The price, currency, billing period and any applicable tax are shown by the store before you confirm a purchase.
Google Play
The Android version currently offers Unlimited as a permanent, non-consumable one-time purchase through Google Play. It is not a subscription and is not billed again. Restore it on the same Google account from Settings → Restore purchase.
Apple App Store
The iOS version offers Unlimited Monthly and Unlimited Yearly as auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting SignMe does not cancel a subscription.
Unlimited access lasts while the subscription is active. If it expires, is refunded or is revoked, the app returns to the free limit; signed documents already stored on your device are not deleted. Use Settings → Restore purchase after reinstalling or changing devices with the same Apple Account.
See the SignMe refund policy. Apple purchases are also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. Don’t reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the app, or use it to forge signatures or commit fraud.
Availability and liability
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable but can’t promise it will be error-free or that every PDF will open. To the extent the law allows, Kiwi Kettle is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how a signed document is used or accepted, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: james@kiwikettle.com.
