Refund Policy

Effective and last updated: 11 October 2026

The short version: start with the store or payment provider shown on your receipt. For Paddle purchases, submit change-of-mind requests within 14 days; eligibility depends on Paddle’s policy, product use and applicable law. Contact us whenever a duplicate charge, failed unlock or material defect needs fixing. We will respond within three business days.

1. Who processes your refund

The processor named on your receipt controls the original payment and normally returns approved refunds to that payment method:

  • Paddle: submit a request through Paddle Buyer Support, or email james@kiwikettle.com with your transaction number, purchase email and the app or product purchased. Paddle is the merchant of record for Paddle transactions.
  • Google Play: request a refund through Google Play order history. Google normally accepts self-service requests during its initial refund window. After that, email us with the order number beginning GPA.
  • Amazon Appstore: request help or a refund through your Amazon digital orders or Amazon customer support, using the order information on your receipt.

2. Paddle direct-purchase window

For a one-time purchase made through Paddle, submit any change-of-mind refund request within 14 days of the transaction date. A request in this period does not automatically guarantee a refund: Paddle reviews requests case by case and may consider whether the digital content has already been downloaded, unlocked or substantially used. Mandatory withdrawal and consumer rights continue to apply where the law provides them.

Regardless of the 14-day window, contact us if you were charged more than once, paid but did not receive access, or the paid feature is materially defective. We will first try to restore access or fix the problem. If we cannot do so within a reasonable time, we will approve an appropriate refund.

3. Choose the applicable app

Child Fairy World refunds

Books 2–4 and the Three-Book Adventure Bundle are permanent digital-content purchases. A refund is appropriate when:

  • a completed purchase does not unlock the correct book and restoration does not fix it
  • the purchased content cannot be downloaded or used on a supported device and we cannot provide a fix
  • you were charged more than once for the same entitlement
  • the product was materially different from its description at purchase

When a purchase is refunded or reversed, the corresponding book or bundle entitlement may be removed. Learning progress that remains in the free portion of the app is not intentionally deleted by the refund.

4. How to request help

Email james@kiwikettle.com and include:

  • the app and product purchased
  • the email used at checkout, if applicable
  • the Paddle transaction number, Google Play GPA order number or Amazon order number
  • a short description of what happened

Do not send card numbers, passwords, purchase tokens or identity documents by email. We aim to reply within three business days.

5. Refund timing and access

Approved refunds are returned by the original processor and may take several business days to appear, depending on the payment method. Kiwi Kettle cannot accelerate a bank or card network’s processing time. Refunds are not paid in cash or sent to a different payment method.

6. Consumer rights

This policy does not remove rights provided by applicable consumer law. Consumers in India, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Australia and other regions retain any mandatory remedies for digital content that is faulty, not supplied or not as described.

7. Additional apps

Other Kiwi Kettle apps. This policy currently provides specific refund guidance for Child Fairy World and PickleCall. App-specific pricing and refund guidance for other Kiwi Kettle apps will be published before those products are offered for sale.
