Kiwi Kettle apps
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: 11 October 2026
The short version: we collect only what is needed to operate our website, deliver purchases and support customers. Child Fairy World has no ads, analytics or accounts. PickleCall keeps match data on-device, while its free version uses the Google services described below. We do not sell personal information.
1. Who controls your information
Kiwi Kettle is a trading name of Lokesh Sehgal, a sole proprietor based in India (“Kiwi Kettle”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We operate kiwikettle.com and publish the apps covered by this policy. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to james@kiwikettle.com.
2. The Kiwi Kettle website
If you use our contact form, we receive the name you provide, your email address, the project category you select and your message so we can reply. The form includes an invisible spam-prevention field. We do not use this information for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, requested page, browser information and timestamps, for security, reliability and troubleshooting. We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on kiwikettle.com.
3. Choose the applicable app
Child Fairy World privacy
Information that stays on the tablet
Learning progress, sound preferences and unlocked-book status are stored in the app’s private storage on the device. Child Fairy World does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, chat, social features, location tracking or a user account system.
Purchase verification
For Google Play and Amazon Appstore purchases, the Android or Fire edition sends the store name, product identifier and store-issued purchase token or receipt to our server so the purchase can be verified before a paid book is unlocked. Amazon verification also requires the Appstore-issued user identifier. These identifiers are used only to validate or restore access, prevent fraud and respond to purchase support requests.
Children’s privacy
The app does not ask a child to provide a name, email address, location or other personal information. Purchases, external links, sharing and feedback are protected by a grown-up gate and intended for an adult. If you believe a child has sent information to us, contact us and we will investigate and delete it where appropriate.
PickleCall privacy
Information that stays on your device
Scores, team or player names, match history, statistics, settings, selected age and cached Pro status stay in the app’s private storage. PickleCall does not use the microphone, camera, contacts or precise location. Voice call-outs use the device’s installed text-to-speech engine.
Free-version advertising
The free version uses Google AdMob for banner advertising on selected screens. Depending on age, region and consent, Google may process Advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, consent choices, and ad views or interactions. Teen users receive non-personalised, general-audience treatment, and advertising never appears on the live scoreboard.
Analytics, crash reports and purchase records
For adult users, Firebase Analytics helps us understand feature use and Firebase Crashlytics helps diagnose crashes. These services can process an app-instance or installation identifier, device model, operating-system and app versions, approximate country and usage or crash events. Scores and player names are not sent. Analytics, Crashlytics and server-side purchase-event logging are disabled for teen users.
For adult Pro users, Firebase Authentication creates a private anonymous identifier. A completed Google Play purchase may be recorded with a one-way SHA-256 hash of its token, product and purchase identifiers, date, installation and device information. The raw Play token is not stored in Firebase.
Age protections
PickleCall is for users aged 13 and over. The selected age stays on-device and is used to apply teen or adult privacy settings. Users under 13 cannot continue into the app.
4. Paddle and other purchase processors
Depending on the purchase route, Paddle, Google Play or the Amazon Appstore processes payment. We do not receive full card details. The processor may send us a customer or app-user identifier, email address, product and price, transaction or subscription status, country, tax information and fraud signals needed to fulfil the purchase, provide buyer support, administer refunds and meet legal or accounting obligations.
For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes payment and billing information under Paddle’s Privacy Policy.
5. How we use information
- to operate the website and apps and provide requested features
- to verify purchases, unlock paid content and restore access
- to respond to support, privacy and refund requests
- to prevent fraud, secure our services and diagnose technical problems
- to understand adult use of PickleCall and improve app stability
- to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection and other legal requirements
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with the processors and service providers needed for the purposes above, including Paddle, Google, Amazon and our hosting providers, or with authorities when law requires it.
7. Retention and security
On-device information remains until it is cleared or the app is uninstalled, subject to personal device backups. Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain support records. Transaction records are retained as needed for fulfilment, fraud prevention, accounting, tax and legal obligations. PickleCall analytics are configured for limited retention and Crashlytics reports are generally retained for up to 90 days.
We use encrypted transport, restricted server access, store-side verification and platform security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable safeguards proportionate to the information involved.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. Email james@kiwikettle.com. We may ask for enough information to verify your request without collecting unnecessary data.
9. International processing
Our processors may handle information in countries other than yours. Where required, they use recognised transfer safeguards. Mandatory rights under applicable privacy law continue to apply.
10. Changes and additional apps
We will update the date above when this policy changes. If an app begins collecting a materially different type of information, we will update the relevant notice and provide in-app notice where appropriate.
Other Kiwi Kettle apps. This policy currently provides specific guidance for Child Fairy World and PickleCall. App-specific privacy details for other Kiwi Kettle apps will be published before those products are offered for sale.
