Refund Policy

Effective 25 September 2026 · Last updated 25 September 2026

The short version
  • Bought by mistake? Within 48 hours, request a refund directly from Google Play.
  • After that, email us. If Pro doesn't work as described and we can't fix it, we'll refund you.
  • Subscriptions (if we offer them) can be cancelled any time and stop at the end of the paid period.

Who handles refunds

PickleCall purchases are processed by Google Play, so Google issues all refunds to your original payment method. We can't refund you directly, but we can ask Google to refund an order on our side. This policy explains when we will.

Within 48 hours of purchase

You can usually request a refund yourself from Google Play for up to 48 hours after buying:

After 48 hours

Email james@kiwikettle.com with your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.) and a short note about what went wrong. We'll reply within 3 business days. We'll refund a one-time purchase if, within 30 days of buying:

  • a Pro feature doesn't work as described and we can't fix it within a reasonable time
  • you were charged more than once for the same item
  • you were charged but Pro never unlocked, and Restore purchase doesn't fix it

After 30 days, or for other reasons, such as changing your mind or no longer playing, refunds are at our discretion. We're a small independent studio and we try to be fair.

Subscriptions (if offered)

  • You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
  • We don't give partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period, except where the law requires it or the service didn't work as described.
  • If you were charged for a renewal you didn't expect, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll look at it.

What happens after a refund

When a purchase is refunded, what it unlocked is removed. For Pro, that means ads come back and Pro features lock again. Your scores and match history stay on your device.

Your legal rights

This policy doesn't affect your statutory rights. In the EU and UK you have a 14-day right to withdraw from purchases of digital content. When you buy, you ask for immediate access to the content and accept that this right ends once it's unlocked. If digital content is faulty, you still have a right to a repair or a refund. Consumers in India, Australia and elsewhere keep all the rights their local consumer protection laws give them.
